Aaron’s Go-To Fresh Spirulina Smoothie Recipe

Aaron’s Go-To Fresh Spirulina Smoothie is an everyday part of Founder Aaron’s morning routine. He swears it’s his anti-aging cocktail. This combination is full of healthy fats, fiber and protein to keep you satisfied all morning and on the go. The sweet and savory flavor is a crowd pleaser. Juniper (age 2) loves getting her dose of daily greens each morning.

Our fresh spirulina is the star in this recipe. We love the deep green, vibrant color the spirulina gives this powerful smoothie. Chlorophyll, phycocyanin and other antioxidants give spirulina the amazing blue green color. We recommend 1 tablespoon but Aaron says, “Go crazy! I’ve made this smoothie with 6 ounces of spirulina and it’s great!”

So, if you’re looking for a dairy-free, no-sugar-added smoothie to keep you fueled – this smoothie hits the spot. The recipe makes 2 smoothies, one for you and one to share.
