The sustainable farm associate will be responsible for the expansion and upkeep of our unique growing systems and will work directly with our lead cultivator. This position assists with harvests 2 times per week, packaging, shipping and general farm upkeep.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with some background in plant care, cultivation, shipping or food service. The role has room for long term growth. 

While a background in packaging, farm work, or food service are desirable this position does not require a technical degree. However, you must demonstrate a strong and reliable work ethic and solid communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily farm maintenance and upkeep with a strong attention to detail

• Inventory upkeep

• Product packaging and shipping

• Performs general labor tasks as needed, including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials

• Responsibility for job site cleanliness and food safety

• Manage, schedule and track on-going projects

• Report project status to Lead Cultivator

Requirements:

• High School diploma or higher

• Ability and desire to work inside and outside

• Ability and desire to do assigned tasks and procedures correctly and on time. Every time.

• Reliability; work 8-hr. shifts, 5 days a week. Weekends free.

• Work safely around others and follow safety protocol.

Highly Desirable:

• Logistics and shipping and/or food prep experience.

• Interest in sustainable agriculture

Compensation will be based on experience with adjustments for performance as our company expands. An on-site interview will be required.
